The ATmega328P is a high-performance microcontroller from Microchip Technology, suitable for a wide range of applications. It features a 8-bit AVR RISC-based CPU operating at up to 20 MHz, with 32KB of in-system programmable flash memory, 2KB of SRAM, and 1KB of EEPROM. The device supports a wide operating voltage range from 1.8V to 5.5V, making it versatile for various power supply conditions. The ATmega328P includes a rich set of peripherals, including 23 general purpose I/O pins, 6 channel 10-bit ADC, 2 8-bit and 16-bit timers, a serial programmable USART, and SPI and I2C communication interfaces. It is housed in a compact 28-pin package, making it suitable for compact and cost-effective designs. The microcontroller is also highly energy-efficient, featuring a variety of power-saving modes to extend battery life in portable and low-power applications.
