Lm393 Datasheet

The LM393 is a widely-used dual differential comparator integrated circuit (IC) that offers a fast response time and low power consumption. It features two independent voltage comparators that are designed to operate from a single power supply over a wide voltage range. Each comparator has an open-collector output, making it easy to interface with various output devices such as transistors, relays, and logic gates. With a response time as fast as 1.3μs, the LM393 is suitable for applications where a quick comparison between two input voltages is required, such as in voltage detection, level shifting, and waveform generation. Its low power consumption of only 0.35mW makes it ideal for battery-operated devices. The LM393 is designed to operate within a supply voltage range of 2V to 36V and can work in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85°C. It has a wide input voltage range that allows it to accommodate a variety of signal levels. Overall, the LM393 is a reliable and versatile IC that provides accurate voltage comparison in a wide range of applications while consuming minimal power.
