Moc3083 Datasheet

The MOC3083 is a solid state optoisolator designed for high voltage applications. It combines a GaAs infrared emitting diode and a light activated silicon bilateral switch in a single package. The device is capable of receiving and transmitting both analog and digital signals. With a minimum isolation voltage of 5300Vrms, the MOC3083 ensures reliable and safe isolation between the input and output circuits. It can handle high repetitive peak blocking voltage of up to 600V, making it suitable for use in challenging industrial environments. The MOC3083 is housed in a small, industry-standard DIP-6 package, making it easy to integrate into existing designs. It features a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, allowing for operation in extreme conditions. This optoisolator is ideal for use in motor control circuits, power switching applications, solid state relays, and any other high voltage systems requiring reliable isolation. Its compact size, high isolation voltage, and robust design make the MOC3083 a versatile and dependable solution for a wide range of industrial applications.
