The SN7447N is a BCD to seven-segment decoder/driver designed for converting binary-coded decimal (BCD) input data into output signals for driving common-cathode type LED or LCD seven-segment displays. The device features a ripple-blanking output to eliminate displays with leading or trailing zeros, making it ideal for use in digital panel meters, calculators, and other applications requiring numerical display of data. The SN7447N accepts BCD input data and provides the necessary logic to drive the seven-segment display, making it a convenient and efficient solution for displaying numerical data. With a maximum input current of 1.6mA and a typical propagation delay of 15ns, the SN7447N offers high performance with low power consumption.
