The SN74LS47N is a BCD to 7-segment latch/decoder/driver designed for driving common-cathode displays. It accepts four lines of BCD input data and generates output signals for a 7-segment display. The device features a latch enable (LE) input and an active-low ripple-blanking input to blank leading and trailing zeroes or to increase the blanking blanking interval. It also features a lamp test input, which, when activated, turns all the segments on.
