tp5100

The TP5100 is a high-efficiency, synchronous buck-boost converter with two integrated NMOS power switches. It is designed to provide a constant current output for single-cell Li-Ion or Li-Polymer battery charging, and the dual input (USB and adapter) power path supports a wide range of operation voltages. The TP5100 also features thermal regulation and protection, overcurrent and short circuit protection, and under voltage lockout to ensure safe and reliable charging. Equipped with a 1.2MHz fixed-frequency synchronous buck-boost controller, the TP5100 provides high efficiency and reduced solution size by integrating the NMOS power switches. The device operates with input voltage from 4.3V to 8.6V, making it suitable for a wide range of applications such as power banks, portable chargers, and other portable devices. The TP5100 offers a highly integrated solution for single-cell Li-Ion and Li-Polymer battery charging, making it an ideal choice for designers looking for a compact, efficient, and reliable charging solution.
